ABOUT

BIO
A native of Linn County, Eli grew up in the small towns of Detroit, Mill City, and Scio, Oregon. After law school, he returned to the mid-valley to begin his practice of law. He started his career at the historic Weatherford Thompson Law Firm, where he practiced in the areas of landlord-tenant law and property issues.

Prior to and during law school, Eli became intrigued with criminal defense and social justice issues. He worked for the Polk County Court as well as a Salem injury firm.

Eli's past experienced as a board member of CASA got him involved in juvenile justice, which he practices now.

Eli also works as an adjunct professor at Linn Benton Community College, where he teaches in the Criminal Justice department.

When not working, Eli can be found spending time with his family, usually somewhere in the woods, where he is hunting, fishing, trapping, or camping.

He currently volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America, Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, Hunters of Color, and other outdoor oriented programs.

He is passionate about the outdoors and seeing that more have access to them.
